Lasa City Public Cultural & Sports Center is one of the world's highest altitudes FIFA pitches. Since it opened four years ago, this field has hosted many football events and community activities, enduring heavy use.
We knew the tough environment would pose significant challenges when we undertook this project. Building a FIFA-standard pitch in such conditions seemed impossible to many, but we made it happen. By assessing the local issues of great temperature differences, strong UV radiation, and harsh climate, we successfully installed an 11-a-side high-end football pitch. We used CGT's professional FIFA system, featuring ultra-wear-resistant artificial grass, XPE shock pads, and TPE eco-friendly granules, which provide outstanding durability and longevity. This pitch matches the performance of natural grass, offers excellent wear resistance, and can withstand changeable weather, with a lifespan of over eight years.
Now, look at this pitch. Despite these challenging conditions, the turf remains in excellent condition. There are no abrasions or fiber loss, and the grass continues to show good pile recovery, maintaining its resilient and durable performance. It remains ready for undertaking more high-intensity contact sports.
